Pixelle: Minimal Launcher · by Lumivance Technologies · Last updated 24 October 2026
Pixelle is a home screen (launcher) for Android. Everything it does happens on your phone.
Pixelle does not collect, store on any server, sell or share any of your information. The app does not have internet access, contains no ads, no analytics and no third-party tracking code, and does not need an account.
| Information | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| The list of apps installed on your phone | To show your apps as a list and open them | Stays on your phone |
| Notifications (optional, only if you allow Notification access) | So Pixel the companion can take an app's colour and show which app has a notification, or the name or number of a missed caller. Pixelle never reads or keeps the text of your messages. | Used live on your phone, never saved or sent |
| App usage time (optional, only if you allow Usage access) | To total today's time in social media apps and show a gentle reminder when it passes the limit you set | Used live on your phone, never saved or sent |
| Pictures you choose as wallpapers | To show them on your home screen and prepare a lock-screen picture | Copied into Pixelle's private storage on your phone |
| Your settings (home apps, fonts, companion name, optional name and birthday for greetings) | To remember your choices | A small file in Pixelle's private storage on your phone |
| Battery level, charging, headphones, whether music is playing, motion sensor | So the companion can react (excited when charging, bopping to music, dizzy when shaken) | Used live, never saved or sent |
Notification access and Usage access are off until you turn them on during setup or in Pixelle's settings, and Android asks you to confirm. You can turn them off at any time in Android Settings, and Pixelle keeps working without them.
Pixelle does not send any information off your phone, so nothing is shared with Lumivance Technologies or anyone else. Google Play may collect information about your purchase and installs under Google's privacy policy.
Everything Pixelle keeps is on your phone. Uninstalling Pixelle, or clearing its storage in Android Settings › Apps › Pixelle, deletes all of it.
Pixelle is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
